  522.984 Euro, in which:

- Non-refundable aid from donors : 436.682 Euro.

- Counterpart fund from CUWC:  2.100.000 VNĐ = 86.302 Euro (Cash: 1.500.000.000 = 61.644 Euro; Others:  600.000.000 VNĐ = 24.658 Euro).

* Main objectives and results of the Project:

- Overall objective: The project aims to ensure job opportunities for youth by improving quality of vocational training and in particular, upgrading infrastructure, capacity building for teaching staff as well as updating training curriculum to improve piping and plumbing vocational training course for CUWC.

- Specific objectives: Improve vocational training environment to provide opportunities of better jobs for youth, especially disadvantaged ones through modernization of training equipment, adjustment of training curriculum on Plumbing and Welding to match the needs of Hanoi labor market, providing quality vocational training course and connecting jobs after training for youth under 24 years old.

- Project impact: The funded project period from 2015 to 2018 will bring major benefits for welding and plumbing vocational training course at CUWC. Project results will provide policy makers, vocational education managers with a model to effectively solve the problem of unemployment in Hanoi and across the country.

• About 100 to 200 students per year have chance to access to quality plumbing training course and 70% get job opportunities within 6 months of graduation.

• About 50 to 100 students, of which 80% are disadvantage youth are supported to attend short term plumbing and welding training courses and 70% get  job opportunities  within 6 months of  graduation.
